Journey through the Centers
Understanding how the Centers in your BodyGraph function is an often overlooked aspect when people come to Human Design, but I have come to believe that having an understanding of how each of your Centers function is very powerful. This is because you understand not only your own energetic make on a deeper level but you understand how your energy impacts and interacts with other people and environments, as well as how other people and environments impact and condition you. Understanding your Centers and the Centers of those you love and interact with has the potential to really transform your relationships as you understand and accept your energetic make up and the energetic make up of others.

Human Design Gates
The gates are activated in your Human Design chart based on the placement of the planets in the sky at the moment of your birth and at the moment of your design date. Your design date is the moment that your soul entered your body when you were in your mothers womb. Any black gates are conscious gates and are calculated from your birth day. These are energies that you will be more consciously aware of. The red gates in your chart are unconscious and are calculated from your design date.
If you have a gate activated, it means that energy is a part of you, a part of what makes you uniquely you! If you don’t have the gate activated you can still experience the energy of the gate when you are in the presence of someone with it or when it is activated by the transits (the moving planets).
